  • Yes, we do! The first step is acquiring inventory, but not just any bike will do!

All of our Certified Pre-Loved Bikes MUST pass our strict & comprehensive Refurbishment Process. In fact, many bikes don’t even make our initial selection. This is because we’re very selective about the quality of the brand of bike we decide to work with.

What does this mean? A bike is a bike right?

Actually, it’s a bit more complicated than that.

While there are countless bikes in the market or in department stores, we find that brands outside our list are often subpar in build & don’t quite meet the expected quality & safety standards set in the bicycle industry.

There’s a reason why department store bikes have a bad rep, as these companies often use ‘shiny inexpensive’ bike tactics to take advantage & prey upon newer cyclists as well as those looking to budget their purchases.

But buyer beware: these bikes can be borderline dangerous & don’t have many riding hours to their life-span; they often break apart quickly & require maintenence which can cost more than the bike did itself originally! :/

This is why we only stick with the most trusted, tried, & true brands in the industry (i.e. bicycles that would’ve originated out of a bike shop themselves).

This includes Trek, Specialized, Giant, & more!

  • We do! Our bikes receive professional tuning as part of our Certified Pre-Loved Inspection & are expected to feel like a new bike.

If this isn’t the case, we will make it right.

All of our Certified Pre-Loved Bicycles come with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, as well as a comprehensive 5-Year Warranty which covers all labor under our Basic Tune-Up package.

This includes adjustments to your shifting, braking, tire pressure, headset, & all-around safety checks. Enjoy complimentary tune-ups as needed for five years!

  • Yes, we do! However, we usually recommend purchasing a Pre-Loved bike, as it’s more economical for you due to our low sale prices.

Why? We do have to charge appropriately to cover the labor & upkeep required to keep our bikes in sale condition.

Which bikes can you rent? Well, rentals extend to all of our current Pre-Loved inventory, not including new retail bikes.

Rentals are $79.95 for a day, or $189.95 for a week.

  • We sometimes receive inquiries asking if we stock specific niche styles of bicycles.

This can include BMX, Fixies, Single-Speeds, Folding Bikes, Tandems, Trike’s, & Vintage Bikes prior to 1985.

We’ve curated our inventory based on what the public is looking for. Unfortunately, these are certain types of bikes we have found to not be worth stocking due to the rarity of having a customer seeking them out.

All of our available inventory is always listed here!

Service & Repair Questions

  • We operate on a walk-in basis. Feel free to stop in with your bicycle anytime during our business hours!

  • We offer a complementary Safety Check & General Inspection for all of our service orders; it’s always completely free with no pressure, no hassle!

We’ll get your bike in the stand & give it a thorough inspection from A to Z. Unless there’s a very clear & straightforward issue with your bike, please allow 24-48 hours before receiving your quote.

While we can sometimes do it on the spot, it’s never guaranteed, as we’re usually very busy during the Spring & Summer seasons.

All of our Service Packages can be found here!

  • We understand that everyone wants to get back on the road with an exact answer on service time.

But the honest answer is that it depends!

Every bike & its repair are different, so it’s a challenging question, as we can never guarantee any specific turnaround time.

    That being said..

We typically find turnaround time to be about 1-2 days during our off-season (October-February).

And about 2-5 days during our peak busy season (April-September).

This could vary depending on many factors, as it’s contextual to the repair itself & how many service orders we currently have in queue.

For example, while many repairs are straightforward, sometimes we encounter a repair that’s a bit more nuanced or time-intensive. We might even find that replacement parts must be specially ordered, & waiting on shipments could add a couple of days or more, depending on the specific part.

However, as part of your Free Quote & Inspection, we’ll share with you exactly what you need to get your bike on the road again.

In addition, you’ll be updated during the repair process if anything pops up; you’ll always know what to expect & stay in the loop every step of the way!

  • We will service the mechanical aspects of ebikes. It is important to note we have other stipulations when it comes to considering ebike service, including removal of battery by customer and a minimum service charge of $80 for ebikes.

Please read our ebike service page before bringing us your ebike! This will ensure your time is not wasted and we can operate on the same page. Thanks for understanding.

  • We do not service e-scooters at this time

Trade-in/donation Questions

  • Yes, but not just any bike! We’re sometimes able to buy bicycles or take them in via trade-in or donation.

However, we’re very selective about the quality of the brands we accept, as our bicycles MUST pass our strict Refurbishment Process.

In addition, many variables weigh into whether a bicycle is a good candidate for refurbishment, including its quality, condition, age, year, model, mileage, availability of replacement parts, labor costs, fair market value, the current state of the bicycle industry, our own shop inventory & space available, etc.

If you think that’s a lot, it’s because it is.

This is actually why we’re not able to give trade-in quotes over the phone; we just need to see the specific bike in person & make a contextual evaluation.

  • Not quite..

Even if a bike is a trusted brand on our list, there are still many other variables which weigh into whether it’s a good candidate for refurbishment, including its quality, condition, age, model, mileage, availability of replacement parts, labor costs, fair market value, the current state of the bicycle industry, our own shop inventory & space available, etc.

So a bike must first meet all of the required criteria & demonstrate that it’s a good candidate before the Refurbishment Process can even begin!

If you’re thinking that’s a lot, it’s because it is.

This is frankly also the reason why we’re not able to give trade-in quotes over the phone; we just need to see the specific bike in person & only then can we make a contextual evaluation.
