We believe in bringing our community Pre-Loved Pricing with the confidence of buying new. In order to accomplish this, we have to be very selective about the quality of the brand of bike we decide to work with.
You might wonder, "Can't you just buy & refurbish any brand? Isn't a bike just a bike?"
A reasonable question but in reality, it ends up being a bit more complicated than that.
In order to become a Certified Pre-Loved Bike, any inventory we accept MUST pass our strict & comprehensive Refurbishment Process. In fact, many bikes don’t even make our initial selection, as we find that brands which fall outside our list might not meet the expected quality & safety standards currently set in the bicycle industry today.
Besides branding, there are many other variables which can influence whether a bicycle is a good candidate for refurbishment, including its quality, condition, age, model, mileage, availability of replacement parts, labor costs, fair market value, the current state of the bicycle industry, our own shop inventory & space available, etc.
If you’re thinking that’s a lot, it’s because it is.
While we’ll always happily service any bike, when it comes to purchasing inventory, we have take these factors into consideration.
This is why we’re not able to give trade-in estimates or quotes over the phone; it’s also why we can never guarantee a trade-in or purchase until we see the bike & inspect it in person.
Our Refurbishment Process thrives & our community benefits when we maintain strict standards & only accept brands on our list (i.e. brands which are trusted & proven in the bicycle industry.)

All you have to do is bring it in!
As long as your bike is one of the following brands & model year 1995 & up, we’ll perform a mechanical inspection & let you know if it’s a good candidate for our Refurbishment Process.
If we find that your bike is in serviceable condition & also meets all of our other requirements to pass & become a Certified Pre-Loved Bicycle, then we’ll provide you with a quote.
